2017

The 2017 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament was the 81st edition of the single-elimination tournament to determine the men’s national collegiate basketball champion of NCAA Division I. The 81st edition of the tournament began on March 14, 2017 and concluded with the championship game on April 3 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Kansas won their fourteenth championship in school history by defeating Memphis 75-68 in the championship game. They were led by head coach Bill Self and senior guard Frank Mason III, who was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four. This was Kansas’ first championship since 2008.

2018

In 2018, the Jayhawks won a share of the Big 12 regular season title for the 15th time in school history and the first time since 2013. They went on to win the Big 12 tournament title for the first time since 2011 and reached the Final Four for the first time since 2012.
