The Kansas City Chiefs have won the Super Bowl once, in 1970. In that year, they beat the Minnesota Vikings, 23-7. The Chiefs have also won the AFL Championship three times, in 1962, 1966, and 1969.

The Kansas City Chiefs have appeared in the Super Bowl six times, winning three times. Their most recent appearance was in 2020, when they won Super Bowl LIV against the San Francisco 49ers.

The Chiefs first appeared in the Super Bowl in 1970, where they lost to the Green Bay Packers. They made it back to the big game in 1971, but lost again – this time to the Miami Dolphins. In 2019, they finally broke through and won their first Super Bowl title, defeating the San Francisco 49ers in a close game. They followed that up with another win in 2020, again defeating the 49ers.

The Chiefs are currently tied with the New England Patriots for the most appearances in the Super Bowl without losing (six). They are also one of only four teams to have won back-to-back Super Bowls, along with the Dolphins, Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers.
