The Franchise’s Early Years

2000 AFC West) and have qualified for eight AFL/NFL playoffs (1962, 1966–67 AFL, 1970–71 NFL 1986–87 AFC 1990–91 AFC 1995–97 AFC), winning three conference championships (1966 AFL 1970 NFL 2018 AFC). The franchise has captured one league championship (Super Bowl IV).
