In order to achieve this mission, the Kauffman Center Presents series was created. This series brings national and international artists in music, dance, theater, and opera to the Kauffman Center stages. In addition to presenting its own series, the Kauffman Center provides rental opportunities for performing arts organizations from around the region and country. It is also home to two long-standing Kansas City resident companies: The Lyric Opera of Kansas City and The Kansas City Ballet.
