The North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball team will begin their 2019-20 season on November 6th with an exhibition game against the Winston-Salem State Rams. The first regular season game will be November 10th at home against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
The 2019-20 schedule features 14 ACC opponents and non-conference games against schools such as Ohio State, Georgia Tech, Appalachian State, Wofford, Elon, and UNC Asheville. The Tar Heels will participate in the Maui Invitational tournament over Thanksgiving break, facing off against Indiana, Alabama, and more.
As of right now, the most highly anticipated game on North Carolina’s schedule is their January 28th matchup with the Duke Blue Devils at Duke’s Cameron Indoor Stadium.

The Tar Heels have won seven National Championships and were retroactively awarded one National Championship by the NCAA in March 1917.
