The Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball program is the intercollegiate men’s basketball program of the University of Kansas. The program is classified in the NCAA’s Division I and the team competes in the Big 12 Conference. Kansas is considered one of the most prestigious college basketball programs in the country with 5 overall claimed National Championships, as well being a consistent powerhouse in conference play, winning 19 conference titles since 1949.
North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball is the intercollegiate men’s basketball team of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The Tar Heels have won six NCAA men’s college national championships (1957, 1982, 1993, 2005, 2009, and 2017). North Carolina’s six NCAA Tournament Championships are third-most all-time, behind UCLA(11) and Kentucky(8).
