The Kansas City Chiefs started the game strong with a touchdown from running back Damien Williams in the first quarter. The Pittsburgh Steelers responded quickly with a touchdown of their own, but the Chiefs were able to take the lead back with another touchdown before the end of the quarter.

After another drive by each team ended in a punt, Ben Roethlisberger threw an interception to Marcus Peters, who returned it 50 yards for a touchdown to give the Chiefs a 21–0 lead. Pittsburgh responded with a touchdown drive of their own, capped off by DeAngelo Williams’s one-yard run that made the score 21–7.
Third Quarter
The third quarter was a back and forth battle with the lead changing hands several times. The Kansas City Chiefs eventually took the lead for good with a touchdown late in the quarter. The final score of the game was Kansas City Chiefs 27, Pittsburgh Steelers 24.
Fourth Quarter
In the fourth quarter, the Kansas City Chiefs extend their lead over the Pittsburgh Steelers to 21-7.
