How to Get to the Kansas State Fair
The Kansas State Fair is located in Hutchinson, Kansas, about an hour drive north of Wichita. The fairgrounds are located on the south side of town near the Kansas Renaissance Festival. If you’re coming from out of town, there are several hotels in the area that offer special rates for fair attendees.
To get to the fairgrounds, take I-135 North to Exit 42 (11th Avenue). Turn east (toward downtown) and follow 11th Avenue for about two miles. The fairgrounds will be on your right.
