Kansas Department of Health and Environment
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) is working with county and local health departments, hospitals, clinics, physicians, pharmacists and other vaccine providers to ensure that all Kansans have the opportunity to be vaccinated against COVID-19. To date, over 400 providers have signed up to vaccinate Kansans.
Vaccinations are currently available for healthcare workers, long-term care residents and staff, folks over the age of 65, and certain essential workers. The state is working to expand eligibility as quickly as possible while ensuring that those most at risk are vaccinated first.
If you are eligible for a vaccine and would like to schedule an appointment, please visit the KDHE website or call the Kansas Vaccine Provider Hotline at 1-877-233-6766.

Concluding Thoughts
While the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine is still underway and ever-changing, getting vaccinated is one of the best ways that you can help protect yourself and others from the virus. If you’re wondering where you can get a vaccine in Kansas, there are a few different options available to you.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has partnered with Walmart, CVS, and Target to provide vaccines at select locations throughout the state. You can use the KDHE’s online vaccine locator tool to find a location near you.
Additionally, some local health departments and other providers are also offering vaccines. You can contact your local health department or visit their website to see if they have any vaccine clinics scheduled.
If you’re unable to get a vaccine through one of these options, you may want to consider signing up for a vaccine waitlist. While there’s no guarantee that you’ll get a vaccine through a waitlist, it’s worth considering if you’re unable to get an appointment through another method.
