The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Chiefs compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) West division. The team was founded in 1960 as the Dallas Texans by businessman Lamar Hunt and was a charter member of the American Football League (AFL). In 1963, the team relocated to Kansas City and assumed their current name. The Chiefs joined the NFL as a result of the AFL–NFL merger in 1970. The team is valued at over $2 billion.

The Regular Season

The regular season for the Kansas City Chiefs kicks off on September 10th at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars. They will then play away games against the Houston Texans, Detroit Lions, and Indianapolis Colts before coming back home to Arrowhead Stadium to take on the Baltimore Ravens. The Chiefs will end their regular season with away games against the Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos.

The Kansas City Royals are an American professional baseball team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Royals compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member team of the American League (AL) Central division. The team was founded as an expansion franchise in 1969, and has participated in four World Series, winning in 1985 and 2015, and losing in 1980 and 2014.
