Leoti is a city in Wichita County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 1,871. It is the county seat of Wichita County.

Leoti was founded in 1886. It was named for John Leoti, who homesteaded near there in 1879.

In 1889, Leoti suffered a major fire which destroyed most of the city’s business district. However, the city quickly rebuilt and emerged even stronger than before.
