Kansas City’s Santa’s Mailroom is a must-see for anyone looking for a festive and fun holiday activity. This tradition started in 1949, when the city’s post office began receiving letters addressed to Santa. In response, the post office set up a special “Santa’s Mailroom” where children could come and write their letters to Santa.

Today, Santa’s Mailroom is still going strong, and it’s become one of the city’s most beloved holiday traditions. Every year, thousands of children visit Santa’s Mailroom to write their letters to Santa and drop them off in the big red mailbox. And every year, Santa replies to each and every one of them.

If you’re in Kansas City during the holidays, be sure to stop by Santa’s Mailroom and experience this cherished tradition for yourself!
