-Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was drafted by the Chiefs in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He is currently considered one of, if not the best quarterback in the NFL. He has led the Chiefs to two consecutive AFC Championship Games and has won Super Bowl LIV.
-Running back Kareem Hunt was drafted by chiefs in third round of 2017 NFL Draft. He led the NFL in rushing yards as a rookie, but was released by team midway through his second season after video surfaced of him assaulting a woman.
-Wide receiver Tyreek Hill was drafted by Chiefs in fifth round of 2016 NFL Draft. He is considered one of, if not the fastest player in the NFL and is one of Mahomes’ favorite targets.

The Kansas City Chiefs are set to play the Denver Broncos tomorrow at Arrowhead Stadium. The game is set to start at 8:20 PM EST and will be aired on NBC. This will be the Chiefs’ first game of the season, and they are looking to start off on the right foot with a win.
Regular Season
The Kansas City Chiefs play the Houston Texans tomorrow in the first game of the regular season. The Chiefs then play the Denver Broncos, the Los Angeles Chargers, the Oakland Raiders, the Miami Dolphins, the Buffalo Bills, and the New England Patriots.
Playoffs
The reigning Super Bowl champions will have their work cut out for them if they want to repeat in 2020.
After a tough loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5, the Chiefs rebounded with eight straight wins to clinch the AFC West for the fifth consecutive season. They’ll enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed and will host the Browns in the divisional round.
This will be a rematch of sorts from Week 16, when the Chiefs held on for a 22-17 victory in Cleveland. The Browns were one of the hottest teams in the league down the stretch, winning five of their last six games to clinch their first playoff berth since 2002.
The Chiefs are one of three teams that have clinched a first-round bye in the playoffs. The other two are the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints.
