The third quarter was Denver’s to lose. They started the quarter with a touchdown, but then Kansas City answered with a touchdown of their own. The see-saw battle continued, with each team scoring back-to-back touchdowns. With two minutes left in the quarter, Denver finally took the lead and held onto it for the rest of the game.
The fourth quarter
The fourth quarter began with the Broncos leading by three points. The Chiefs quickly tied the game with a field goal, but the Broncos regained the lead with a touchdown. With less than two minutes remaining in the game, the Chiefs had one last chance to score, but they were unable to do so and the Broncos won the game.
The Kansas City Chiefs won the game against the Denver Broncos with a score of 27-24. This was an exciting game and the Chiefs are now in the lead for the AFC West.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was named the game’s Most Valuable Player, becoming the youngest player in NFL history to win the award. He is also the first Chiefs player to win the MVP since 1970. Mahomes completed 23 of 35 passes for 278 yards and two touchdowns in the game.
