Both the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) and the University of Kansas (KU) are NCAA Division I schools. They both have successful basketball programs, with UNC winning five NCAA championships and KU winning three.
In recent years, UNC has had more success than KU, making it to the Final Four in 2016 and 2017. KU has not made it to the Final Four since 2012.
The starting lineup for the University of North Carolina included Tyler Hansbrough, Wayne Ellington, Danny Green, Ty Lawson, and Deon Thompson. For Kansas, the starters were Darrell Arthur, Darnell Jackson, Brandon Rush, Mario Chalmers, and Sasha Kaun.
The game itself
The Jayhawks took an early lead and never looked back, winning by a final score of 80-67. It was a tough loss for the Tar Heels, who are now 0-2 on the young season.
The first half

However, the Jayhawks are not taking this loss lightly. They are already planning their revenge and are determined to win the next game.
As the final score was announced, the North Carolina Tar Heels fans erupted in cheers, while the Kansas Jayhawks fans could be seen dejectedly making their way out of the arena. The North Carolina players celebrated on the court, hugging and high-fiving each other. The Kansas players stoically made their way to the locker room, some with their heads down.
After a well-fought battle, UNC won the game with a score of 71-65. This was a turning point in the game, as Kansas had been leading up until this point. Some argue that this was the best game of the season.
