Moore was named National Coach of the Year by Sporting News and The Sporting News’ Coach of the Year for his efforts during this season.

On March 1, 2007, after four seasons at Kansas, Charlie Moore resigned from his position as head coach of the Jayhawks. His resignation came after an internal review by university officials found that he had made numerous improper phone calls to recruits during his time at Kansas.

It is unclear at this time who will replace Moore as head coach at Kansas.

Charlie Moore played four seasons of collegiate basketball at Kansas, from 2016 to 2020.
